Okay, so first, context: Flynn, in a sort of roundabout way, says that Yuri and the party saved Estelle. Yuri responds with this.

And just think about it.

I mean yes, the party had to fight her. Twice. But that was for self defense and didn’t bring her back.

Yes, the party had to use Dein Nomos and aer flow control to keep her from exploding from Alexei’s system. But that would have been useless without breaking Alexei’s mind control.

And it was Estelle who, after being subjected to pain and misery and torture, finally found the strength to fight back.

It was Estelle who found it in herself to pull out of her hopelessness and utter despair and regain the will to keep living.

It was Estelle who broke out of Alexei’s torture and mind control with her own sheer determination while simultaneously releasing a burst of power that healed the entirety of Zaphias over.

The party didn’t bring her back.

Estelle came back on her own.
